Student Leaders for Participatory Budgeting

All across the US, young people are demanding a voice in how their schools and institutions invest resources. Students want to see their institutional budgets reflect their priorities and they want to create campuses that are just, inclusive and safe places to thrive. 

Come meet our cohort of Students Leaders for Participatory Budgeting and hear their plans for changing how money is invested on their campuses. These eight high school students from David Douglas, Gresham, Parkrose and Reynolds High Schools have been researching, learning from their peers and campus leaders what it will take to bring participatory budgeting to their campuses.
